Workshop and Symposium
Co-organized the International Symposium and Workshop: Towards Frugality and the European Parliament, MALTA.
During the symposium, a few of the world’s top architects and creative thinkers shared their vision for a new world order, and illustrated innovative approaches to the challenges of a world running out of limited resources. Nina Maritz, Franco La Cecla, Elena Barthel, Sarah Wigglesworth, Luca Stasi, Stephen Mueller, and Ersela Kirpa all spoke about their work in the field and brought to light the capacity of creativity and design to empower and enliven our environmental responsibilities.
With the workshop, a group of 35 individuals including architects, journalists, artists, engineers and students worked in small groups to come up with a scheme for the design of temporary/emergency shelter units.
